The Law Firm of Kaye & Mills

Kaye & Mills is a two-partner boutique law firm in Beverly Hill, CA, specializing in entertainment, publishing, internet, electronic and general business law.
Our challenge was to update a site that had been dormant for several years. While doing this we also wanted to deliver a site that was not only easy to navigate, informative and search engine friendly, but one that stood out from the typical law-site pack.
Due largely to the creative input from both partners - Kevin Mills and Jessica Kaye - we succeeded on all fronts, proof that clients and contractors can and should work as a team.
Big Happy Family Audio

BHFA is a distributor for downloadable audiobook titles from independant publishers. They needed a site that would:
- Encourage new audiobook publishers to take advantage of its services
- Support its distribution partners & attract new ones
- Offer clients online access to information & materials
- Communicate relevant industry news.
While the initial site is "static," we designed it for easy conversion to a "WordPress as CMS" site in the near future.
UPDATE: Thanks to brilliant work by Rachael Acklin of Brand Harmony Studio the Big Happy Family site is now running on Wordpress and the Thesis Theme framework.
BBC Audiobooks America (now AudioGO)

This was a fun, challenging project that involved designing and coordinating the development of a site integrating three different platforms — DotNetNuke, Cold Fusion & proprietary DB programming.
BBCAA already had a "catalog" site for library sales, but wanted something aimed at both consumers & the "trade" — lively, visually interesting, dynamic, flexible, interactive & with the capability af being easily maintained in-house.
